We began presenting our skits on Friday.  We were highly entertained by our first two groups who performed scenes from Sounder and A Wrinkle in Time.  Such talented students!!!

Back from vacation

It was our first week back from April break and we were busy with many activities! 

Today we had special visitors.  The Marshall Legacy Institute came to visit the 3rd grade classes to introduce their CHAMPS program to us.  CHAMPS - Children Against Mines Program.  We learned about all the landmines still active in the world and the efforts of this organization to find and destroy them.    If you'd like to help, make sure to check out the fliers that were send home.
